Kale Hummus

Hummus is delicious and this beautiful green hummus will add colour to your serving plate. This variation of the traditional hummus is great served as an dip with vegetables, on a sandwich, in a wrap or as a side dish.

This beautiful kate hummus is delicious served as a dip with crackers or vegetables.
Serves: 2 cups
  • 1 can (540 ml) chickpea, drained and rinsed
  • 3 leaves kale
  • ½ cup water
  • juice from 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  1. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender.
  2. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes using tamper to press the ingredients into the blades.
  3. Once smooth, stop the mixer.
  4. Serve chill with vegetables or crackers.
