Baked apples and berries are so comforting! And topped with this gluten-free maple pecan crumble, it is just a delight! This recipe is very simple to make. It is the perfect multi-purpose dish: it can be used as a dessert, but it is not too sweet so it is definitely healthy enough for breakfast. I could seriously just eat this 3 times a day!

Ingredients
- 4 cups apples, chopped into small cubes (5-6 apples)
- 1 cup blueberries (frozen or fresh)
- 1 cup partridgeberries (or cranberries, raspberries, etc - frozen or fresh)
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons dark chocolate balsamic vinegar (or regular balsamic vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Maple Pecan Crumble
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- ½ cup coconut oil, melted
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F.
- Mix together apples, blueberries, partridgeberries, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar and lemon juice.
- Spread the fruits in a baking dish.
Maple Pecan Crumble
- With your hands, mix together oats, almond flour, pecans, coconut oil, maple syrup, cocoa powder and sea salt.
- Spread over the fruits, pressing down slightly to form the crumble.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 40 minutes, until the top is golden.
